Governor Rod Blagojevich signed SB 0101 in to law! This takes
Illinois off the list of the last eight states that don't have protections
for their Disabled Citizens. We applaud the Governor for signing
this bill and urge him to support and encourage the strengthening
of this LAW!
PUBLIC ACT 094-0378 its LAW !!!!!
New Bill
The Illinois Advocate For The Disabled is working to help create
stronger and more comprehensive additions to Public Act 094-0378
We are currently having our bill submitted to the Illinois General
Assembly for the next session and will try to have these
improvements passed through both Houses in the Illinois General
Assembly. We are looking for help from people who are able to
pass out petitions for their State Senators and Representatives. It
is very important that they know how you want them to vote in
regards to this very important legislation!
